Dear Maureen, Thank you for the welcome home email. it was so nice to be on “fiji time” but it’s just been hectic since we returned. i wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much we loved the trip to matamanoa. it was the perfect honeymoon. we took advantage of all the different activities… went snorkeling, kayaked around the island, fishing, hiked to the top of the island, ate a ton of food, visited a nearby fijian village, went scuba diving for the first time, also sat around and read books, and learned to sail a catamaran. the people were so nice (fijians as well as other tourists)… we met a few people who had been to fiji a number of times and they all said matamanoa was their favorite island by far. the boat transfer there and helicopter back was a great idea. besides the bugs, the rooms were beautiful. thank you for all your help and suggestions. do you only specialize in the south pacific? i don’t know when we’ll have time to travel that far anytime soon but we will definitely keep you in mind when planning our next trip.

Room #31 was just fine as it had a view to the lagoon and the occasional breeze [being on the 2nd floor] – bungalow #109 was perfect too. We had a wonderful time and all of the connections were made with ease.
