Dear Pamela, Yes, I’ve been planning on contacting you. The trip was wonderful. All the transfers were easy to find even though I wasn’t sure what we were looking for. The people were great and when we got to Tonga without luggage, the driver was very kind and took us to some stores to buy necessities. The Tonga Hotel was wonderful! A little older but with a wonderful feeling of family and peace. The employees were cheerful and the food was so tasty! While there, we met one of the owners from Australia and he was fun to learn about as well. One thing to note is that we had to work the boat driver and office lady to let us go to the main island each day. They only plan on going when they have guests to pick up. It worked out fine in the end but they did resist a little.Likuliku was a dream! I don’t know how to explain it other than that. I had never been to an adults only hotel before and it was set up so romantic and all about couples. The cheerfulness and genuine interest the staff had was unsurpassed anywhere I’ve traveled. I wanted to stay there a couple more days! The food was amazing as well.The cruise was an older boat than I had imagined but very functional. Wonderful staff as well, very friendly. So glad we upgraded to the suite! It gave us lots of room for all our stuff with two sets of closets and bathrooms! We mostly went scuba diving which made it all wonderful. The reef there is amazing! I loved visiting the small islands and the villages. The food was not so great but fine for a few days. If you didn’t hurry down to the dining room when the meal first started, they would run out of things…The Westin on the main island was a wonderful hotel but not very “Fijian”. It was like being at a great hotel in Hawaii or Miami. Our friends who stayed there for several days didn’t get a good impression of Fiji. That is good to know…get out to the islands to have a better Fijian experience!Thanks for all of your help in scheduling and arranging all of this!
