Day 1: Miami | Prelude to Adventure Arrive in Miami and transfer to your accommodations at the Four Seasons. This evening, meet your tour leadership team and fellow guests over cocktails and dinner, sharing the anticipation of the incredible adventures ahead. Days 2-4: Peru | Timeless Machu Picchu Fly south for Peru, seat of the ancient Inca Empire. Your first night includes a private tour and dinner at the Larco Herrera Museum, keeper of the largest collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. The next day, take a local flight to Cusco for a guided city tour, followed by a private dinner at the Convent of San Francisco, accompanied by a musical performance. Your final day begins with a ride on board the luxurious Hiram Bingham train — reserved exclusively for your party — to unforgettable Machu Picchu. Arrive at this mysterious site after the morning crowds have departed, walk its ghostly terraces and take in the spectacular surrounding views. Enjoy Pisco Sours, entertainment and a private dinner on the train back to Cusco. Meals: B L D Days 5-6: Easter Island | The Lost World Fly nearly 3,000 miles over the Pacific to one of the most remote — and enticing — destinations on earth: Easter Island. The grandeur of its monolithic moai statues enigmatically gazing out to sea is rivaled by its intense natural beauty, with a postcard-worthy view seemingly in every direction. Arrive to a greeting of flowers and warm smiles from your Rapa Nui hosts, followed by a sunset cocktail and Hotumatua ritual, a celebration of the island’s mythic founding. The next day, visit the Orongo ceremonial village (site of the island’s “birdman” rituals) and witness a demonstration of Haka Pei, a thrilling form of downhill sledding. Following a barbecue on the beach, explore the town of Hangaroa and visit the Father Sebastian Englert Museum, where the history of the island is brought to life. It houses the only known moai fragment that retains its original white eyes. Continue to the Hanga Roa market to browse for locally made craft items and interact with local merchants. Celebrate tonight at a special umu (earth-cooked) feast in a Rapa Nui home, with local dignitaries in attendance. Meals: B L D Days 7-9: Samoa | A Tropical Interlude Your Pacific voyage continues, taking you across the International Dateline and pausing for a stop in Samoa, where you have a day to unwind and relax. Samoa is as close to paradise on earth as you will find, with balmy tropical breezes blowing in from an emerald-blue sea fringed by pristine beaches. On arriving, you are greeted by a colorful local dance troupe, followed by a welcome drink at your resort. Spend the next morning touring the island, including the village of Vailima, last residence of Robert Louis Stevenson. Following a barbecue lunch on the beach, spend an afternoon enjoying the resort’s many optional activities. Choose from a variety of water activities in the island’s stunning reefs, a game of tennis or a rejuvenating spa treatment. Mark the end of your stay in Samoa with a celebratory fia fia, a feast of Polynesian dishes accompanied by dancers and fire-spinners. Meals: B L D Days 10-12: Australia | Wonder Down Under Cross the Southern Pacific to Australia, where you touch down in Sydney, celebrating your arrival with dinner overlooking Sydney Harbour. Embark on a harbor cruise aboard a privately chartered yacht the next day, arriving at beautiful Shark Island. Spend a leisurely afternoon experiencing authentic Australia on this private island reserved exclusively for your group, and learn the arts of didgeridoo playing and boomerang throwing, taste local wines and cheeses and hear authentic Outback songs from a true-blue troubadour. On your third day, a chartered helicopter flight whisks you over the Greater Blue Mountains to the Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa, a 4,000- acre wildlife and conservation reserve offering a quintessential Aussie bush experience. Take your pick from an amazing menu of optional activities, including a trail ride on horseback; a painting lesson with a local artist; wine-tasting; cooking class; a guided nature tour to see kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos; or a rejuvenating spa visit. Return to Sydney for a private performance and dinner at the iconic Sydney Opera House, overlooking the stunning city skyline. Meals: B L D Days 13-15: Cambodia | The Temples of Angkor Board your private jet for a flight across the Equator to Siem Reap, Cambodia, seat of the former Khmer Empire. After arriving, meet with a local archaeologist and Angkor Wat expert, a prelude for your journey back in time tomorrow; tonight’s welcome dinner is held at a traditional Khmer house. Angkor Wat is one of Asia’s most stunning cultural wonders, and you commence your exploration of it at sunrise, riding to the site by tuk-tuk, followed by a Champagne breakfast. Spend the day exploring Angkor Wat, along with nearby Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm, pausing for a private lunch behind one of the temples. Enjoy a serene glimpse of local life with a sunset cocktail cruise on Tonle Sap Lake. Dinner at your hotel tonight is accompanied by a poolside Cambodian market, set up just for you. Begin the next day offering alms at a Buddhist monastery. Visit Banteay Srei (the Pink Temple), and then continue to Sam’s Brothers Clean Water Project. In the afternoon, enjoy a spectacular scenic helicopter flight over the temple site and floating village. Bid farewell to Cambodia with dinner at stunning Thommeanon Temple, along with an entertaining shadow puppet show. Meals: B L D Days 16-17: India | The Romantic Taj Mahal Fly to Agra, India, this morning, and arrive at your hotel to a festive welcome befitting a maharajah. Settle into your room and take in the view from your balcony — all rooms at the Oberoi Amarvilas face the Taj Mahal. See the famous monument from another perspective this evening at a performance depicting the story of Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj, and his beloved Mumtaz Mahal, the empress who was entombed within it. Begin the next day with a visit to the Taj Mahal itself. No photograph does the monument justice — it looks as if it were painted onto the sky and is both strikingly simple and graced with fine details, particularly the pietra dura (inlaid stonework) of the cenotaph. Witness for yourself the way its luminous marble skin takes on the pink and orange hues of the sunrise. Continue with visits to Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah, commonly known as the “Baby Taj.” After an afternoon at leisure, return to the Taj Mahal, its marble now tinted gold with the fading daylight. Return to your hotel in time for an exclusive Mughal-themed dinner, along with a performance of Kathak dance, a pantomime-like art with roots back to the nomadic bards of ancient India. Meals: B L D Days 18-20: Turkey | Where East Meets West Board your private jet for your flight to Istanbul, Turkey, to experience the city where East meets West and where cultures have collided and connected for centuries. Arrive before opening hours to privately explore both the dark vaults of the Basilica Cistern and the timeless Hagia Sophia, a church that became a mosque and then, in the modern era, a secular museum, mirroring Istanbul’s own journey through history. Step back in time even further when you visit the Hippodrome, where chariot races once entertained crowds. Your day concludes with another extraordinary private visit, this time to the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum. Emperors and sultans alike led their empires from the Topkapi Palace, which you tour in private the next morning, enjoying the elegant gardens before the crowds arrive. Connect with contemporary life with a stop at the Grand Bazaar, followed by a stroll in the Pera District and Galata, the old Jewish Quarter. One evening includes a sunset cruise and dinner at a rooftop restaurant, showcasing the spectacular cityscape of domes and minarets; the next night, Ottoman Court musicians provide accompaniment to your farewell dinner in a private hall of an Ottoman palace. Meals: B L D Days 21-24: Morocco | Desert Wonders Arrive at Morocco’s Er Rachidia airport, where your A&K desert team is ready to escort you by four-wheel-drive vehicle through the city of Rissani and into the desert for a drive across the dunes. Mount a camel for a ride up the famous Erg Chebbi sand dunes to your private tented camp, where A&K founder Geoffrey Kent is waiting to welcome you. Join Geoffrey for cocktails while watching a spectacular sunset over the dunes, and then enjoy an unforgettable night in the Sahara, complete with a traditional performance by Gnaoua tribesmen and stargazing in the vast desert skies. The next day, accompanied by Geoffrey, fly over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, arriving in time for lunch and an exclusive demonstration of Arabian horsemanship. Drive to Souk Smarine, a maze of stalls bursting with textiles and handcrafts, for a shopping extravaganza and a chance to take in the city sights. Your final day starts with a visit to the Ben Youssef madrasa and the Bahia Palace, followed by bustling, lively Djemaa el-Fna square, a kaleidoscope of activity. Later, enjoy a carriage ride to the Majorelle Gardens, known for their vivid cobalt-blue buildings. Meals: B L D
